Killing me softly
As I lay on my bed talking to my girlfriend Sasha I knew what was coming, our relationship was unsteady in the last couple of weeks. As Sasha was about to deliver the bad news my bedroom door opened. I dropped the phone and a tear ran down my check “me and Sasha are over,” I explained to Kate.
   Kate was a good friend of mine we knew each other since we where toddlers. Kate came over and sat on my bed “hey, don’t worry,” she said as she wrapped her hands around my and hugged me. Her hands were warm and comforting, unlike Sasha, hers were cold and upsetting.
    I turned to Kate and kissed her lightly, I pulled away hoping that she would return he kiss. She did and we both smiled. It felt like Sasha ripped out my heart and left me heartbroken, but Kate lifted my heart and made the killing a whole lot softer.
